The NFL loves to place microphones on the sidelines during live games, but sometimes you’ll capture more than intended. Anyone watching the Jacksonville Jaguars playing the Houston Texans yesterday caught just that.

During the third quarter of the game, Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert takes off to the sidelines on a scramble. Out of no where, LB Brain Cushing launches after Gabbert a microsecond after the quarterback was able to get out of bounds.

Gabbert was obviously unhappy with the play by Cushing as the microphones caught Gabbert telling the linebacker, “Whoa there mother******”. Catch the action right here. NFL games are broadcast with a delay, and I was very surprised that this made it through on to the air.

The Texans held on to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-14 and with an overall 5-3 record, lead the AFC South division. Houston will have an opportunity to increase their division lead next week as they host the Cleveland Browns.

Cushing finished the afternoon as the Texans leading tackler with seven total tackles, a QB hit, one pass defended and an interception.
