WR Terrell Owens is going to hold a private workout this afternoon, a sort of Pro-Day, to show NFL personnel that he is fully recovered from his knee injury suffered earlier this year. The question is though, will any team be interested?

Terrell Owens was linked to the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago after the Titans lost WR Kenny Britt to a season-ending injury. Despite Titans head coach Mike Munchak stating last week that the club might ‘take a look’ at Owens, but it is now being reported by Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean newspaper that the Titans are not going to send anyone to his workout.

Will the San Francisco 49ers take a look at having a possible reunion with Owens? Probably not. Niners head coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters yesterday that he knew nothing about Owens’ workout and had no plans for the veteran receiver. The 49ers could have been a possible fit for Owens after the club lost Josh Morgan to a broken leg in Week Five, but it’s being reported that Braylon Edwards is very close to being ready to go.

It is being reported that the New England Patriots are going to send someone to the workout. Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio told members of the media not to read too much into the move and that they evaluate every player which holds private workouts.

At 38, coming off an ACL injury, Owens will likely draw little interest. I think Owens might find a home in a few weeks if a team in contention suffers a catastrophic injury to a receiver down the stretch, but I don’t see any team pulling the trigger on a deal for Owens this afternoon.
