With the NBA lockout continuing with no end in sight, it’s stars have plenty of free time on their hands. Orlando Magic player Dwight Howard decided he’d take to twitter yesterday and engaged Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow.
Howard sent a tweet to Tebow reading “@TimTebow keep up the good work. Despite all the haters u work hard u got heart and u got Jeses. U can’t lose” Evidently, Tim Tebow took the twitter message to heart and then thought he might be able to put some of the unemployed NBA stars to work in Denver.
Tebow replied, “And btw @DwightHoward if the lockout continues, you & @KingJames need to come get fitted for your Broncos uni’s!”.
The Broncos are already running an unconventional offense in Denver with Tim Tebow under center. They rolled out a read-option offense against the Oakland Raiders this past Sunday, rolling up nearly 300 yards on the ground. The Denver Post is reporting that the Broncos are going forward with the option offense for Tebow as the season continues.
With the addition of Dwight Howard and LeBron James, and the read-option offense, the Broncos could add in some aspects of the triangle offense as well.
