Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones is not likely to play on Sunday when the Cowboys will square off against the Philadelphia Eagles in their 4:15 matchup. Jones has not practiced all week while dealing with hamstring issues. Various reports on Twitter are suggesting that if the New York Giants defeat the New York Jets in their 1pm matchup, Jones will not see the field.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told several sources this week that veteran RB Sammie Morris would shoulder a more significant portion of the carries for the team this week. Dallas comes into the game incredibly slim at the running back position after losing RB DeMarch Murray for the season with a fractured ankle.
Felix Jones is coming off consecutive 100-yard games but has struggled his entire career to remain healthy and on the field for the Dallas Cowboys.
