The quarterback situation for the St. Louis Rams has been bleak this season and with second-year QB Sam Bradford dealing with an ailing ankle and QB A.J. Feeley out with a broken thumb, the St. Louis Rams will give the starting nod to QB Kellen Clemens this week. The Rams are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Kellen Clemens was signed off waivers last week after being released by the Houston Texans. Clemens began his professional career with the New York Jets, but struggled to catch on as a starting quarterback. He was signed by the Houston Texans after the club lost both Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart for the season with injuries. Clemens backed up QB T.J. Yates and never appeared in a game for the Texans. He was released after the club signed veteran quarterbacks, Jake Delhomme and Jeff Garcia.
Clemens has only made on NFL start since 2007.
