The Seattle Seahawks delivered another blow to the reeling Philadelphia Eagles with a 31-14 defeat while RB Marshawn Lynch continued his torrid pace in the victory. The Seattle Seahawks intercepted Philadelphia Eagles QB Vince Young four times, returning the last one for an interception on their way to winning their third game in four tries last night.

Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch has suddenly become a very hot running back. In his last five games, Lynch has rushed for 135,109,88,111 and added 148 yards last night against the Eagles. He has scored a touchdown in all of those games, and recorded two touchdowns last night.

If Lynch maintains this pace, he will have a career year this season. His best season came in his rookie season while a member of the Buffalo Bills, rushing for 1,115 yards and seven touchdowns. Lynch has already tied a career high eight touchdowns this season with four games remaining. If he averages just 80 yards in the remaining four games, added to his current 854 yards, Lynch will eclipse his rookie season career high mark and have nearly 1200 yards on the season.

Seattle’s next game is next Monday night at home against the St. Louis Rams.
