As we learned during the Brett Favre watch, people are now keeping an eye to local airports to try to get a jump on breaking news, the Peyton Manning watch is no different. The MileHighReport reports as is ESPN currently that Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen’s airplane is scheduled to fly to Raleigh, North Carolina later this morning.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen tweeted this morning that Peyton Manning will be working out for the Denver Broncos at Duke University this afternoon. “Peyton Manning will work out for #Broncos today at Duke University. Indoor facility, as of now. Part of process, per source#ESPN.”

According to reporter Jeff Darlington on Twitter, Peyton Manning has withdrawn his name from consideration of the Miami Dolphins. “Peyton Manning personally contacted Dolphins on Thursday to advise them he wouldn’t be signing with Miami, multiple sources have told me.”

There has been no movement this morning on the Tennessee Titans front and it’s expected as of now that Manning will only be working out for the Denver Broncos this afternoon.

A signing of Peyton Manning fuels the speculation over the possible future of QB Tim Tebow. I was believed that the Jacksonville Jaguars would be a perfect fit for Tebow, but the Jaguars signed former Miami Dolphins QB Chad Henne this week to a two-year $6.75 million dollar contract.
