Former Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice will re-join the Buffalo Bills next season after reportedly agreeing to a new contract this afternoon. Choice, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys and then signed off waivers by the Buffalo Bills last season, will re-join the team for the 2012 season.
Choice was added to provide running back depth last season after starting running back Fred Jackson suffered a broken leg, will return for the 2012 season, the details of the contract have not been released as of yet. Choice was claimed by the Buffalo Bills after being claimed by the Washington Redskins last season after being released by the Dallas Cowboys.
Choice will provide nothing more than depth at the running back position for the Buffalo Bills which will be returning veteran RB Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. In his four-year career, Choice has rushed for 1,216 yards and scored nine touchdowns while accounting for 550 receiving yards and no scores through the air.
