New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh are just two of the participants who have agreed to compete on a new reality dating show, according to the Fox television network.
Also scheduled to appear on the show is former NFL star Warren Sapp, who currently works for the NFL Network.
The trio will be joined by singer Joe Jonas, actor Dean Cain, model Tyson Beckford, former American Idol contestant Taylor Hicks, Jersey Shore cast members Pauly D and Mike Sorrentino, Rob Kardashian, Carmen Electra, model Hope Dworaczyk, former Miss America Rima Fakih and others, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show is called The Choice, and will feature four celebrities who sit in spinning chairs and listen to non-famous prospective dates as they pitch themselves. Over the course of three rounds, the contestant pool will be whittled down until each celebrity has chosen their date for the evening.
Only in America, folks. And especially on Fox.
The Choice will be hosted by Cat Deeley, and it will be paired with Fox’s other new dating show, Take Me Out, on Thursday nights starting June 7.
Again, only in America.
Let’s just hope that Suh doesn’t step on anyone or that Gronk doesn’t pick them up and spike them.
Unless it is Kardashian. Or The Situation. That could be cool.
