The 2012 NFL Draft is now in the books. At the conclusion of the draft, teams are permitted to sign undrafted players to contracts. As the NFL increased the off-season rosters from 80 to 90 players, more undrafted players will be selected this season. The New Orleans Saints, making up for a lack of draft picks, signed 18 undrafted players to contracts this year. The Saints selected 3 safteys, 3 linebackers, 3 wide receivers, 2 offensive tackles, 2 defensive linemen, 1 running back, 1 tight end, 1 offensive center, a defensive back and a kick return specialist.

S Jose Gumbs, Monmouth

WR Kevin Hardy, Citadel

OT Dan Hoch, Missouri

LB Stephen Johnson, Temple

S Jerico Newlson, Arkansas

KR Laron Scott, Georgia Southern

LB Aaron Tevis, Boise State

S Johnny Thomas, Oklahoma State

DE Tyrunn Walker, Tulsa
