One of the biggest questions heading into the 2012 NFL season revolves around QB Peyton Manning and if he will return to form after missing a season with a neck injury. According to fellow teammate, Von Miller, Peyton Manning looks good, looking like the Peyton Manning of old.
Appearing on the CBS Sports show, Rome with host Jim Rome, Miller said Manning has looked good this offseason. “In my opinion he looks great. He looks like the Peyton Manning that we’re used to seeing. And I’m looking forward to getting out there on Sundays and working together to get some of these wins.”
Rome pushed Miller to to see if Manning resembled the Manning of old in practice. He responded, I expect him to be…just Peyton Manning. If he can be Peyton Manning, we’ll be alright.”
Woody Paige of the Denver Post attended Broncos minicamp last week and later penned a column stating that Manning looks good and the longtime writer covering the Broncos thinks the team is set for a 10-win season with Manning under center. In order to accomplish that however, the Broncos are going to limit the number of hits Manning receives and keep him upright for all 16 games.
