Here at, we watch all the coverage, attend training camps and view every 65 preseason games in case you can’t. This afternoon, while watching coverage of the Washington Redskins training camp and the post-game presser by rookie QB Robert Griffin III, all questions regarding his maturity have been answered as far as I’m concerned.

Last year, Cam Newton drew a lot of criticism by having an aurora about him which exuded arrogance. Newton is a physical specimen with a million dollar smile and despite the questions which surrounded him, he delivered on the field. Cam Newton set various rookie as well as long standing quarterback records in his first year.

The Washington Redskins decided to finally reach into the draft and select a possible quarterback for the future. I watched the Redskins practice this afternoon on the NFL Network, and RG III looked sharp. It wasn’t just his performance on the field which impressed me, but rather his presser after practice.

Mr. Griffin was very impressive addressing the media after this afternoon’s practice. He was poised, confident, came across with no arrogance. He handed props out to veteran Rex Grossman and was very tempered with the media. The Heisman Trophy winner seemingly has a handle on fame and fortune. He delivered one of the most balanced, even-keeled pressers by a highly touted rookie I’ve ever seen. Redskins fans should be excited about the idea of the Baylor product being under center this season.

RGIII looked sharp on the field. Mr. Griffin might struggle with complex defenses on the field this season, but he already knows how to handle the media in a very confident way. I don’t think the Redskins made the wrong move to select him as their quarterback of the future. He is one cool cat.
