The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to have two key players back on the field this week when they take on the Washington Redskins in their home opener. DE Carlos Dunlap and RB Bernard Scott are slated to return to the lineup. Niether player has seen action yet this season, Dunlap is coming off a knee injury and Scott returns after suffering a broken hand he suffered in the preseason.
Dunlap, in his third season out of the University of Florida recorded 23 tackles and 4.5 sacks last season for the Bengals. Scott is in his fourth season with Cincinnati and rushed for 380 yards on 112 carries last season. Scott will be backing up free agent acquisition BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Green-Ellis has posted 166 yards and one touchdown in the first two weeks of the season and will face a Washington Redskins team which lost two of their best defenders for the season last week and yielded 141 yards on the ground to the St. Louis Rams.
