The Denver Broncos made 19 transactions on Friday in order to reach the league imposed 53-man roster requirement. Perhaps the biggest name released by the Broncos was 10 year veteran CB Drayton Florence. Florence had been signed by the Broncos in May of this year but has struggled in coverage assignments this preseason. The veteran is now free to sign with any other club, not having to pass through the waiver process since he is considered a vested veteran.

Two players were placed on the suspended list, TE Virgil Green and LB D.J. Williams. DE Jeremy Beal was placed on the injured reserve list.

Denver can start to build their roster for the practice squad once players clear through the waiver wire process. Teams can start adding players to the eight player squads Saturday September 1 at noon.
