After a grueling loss to the Dallas Cowboys on the road, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dealt another blow when DE Adrian Clayborn went down with a knee injury.

Clayborn tore a ligament in his right knee against the Cowboys on Sunday. While MRI results have not been released, it looks like there is structural damage, meaning he would miss the rest of this season. It would not only be a devastating blow for the Buccaneers defense, but for Clayborn who is a strict pass rusher and needs his knees to explode across the line.

As for the Buccaneers, it is expected they fill the void with DE George Johnson.  The loss of Clayborns’ talents will be very tough to replace, and  now coach Greg Schiano will have to make quick work to fix the problem, and make significant changes to a defense that has really struggled this season. The best plan of attack for Schiano, let your opponents take a knee, and you spend time fixing your own problems.
