Week Four of the NFL regular season is about to get under way. I’ve already made my game predictions for this week with straight up and against the spread picks. It’s now time to make my five bold predictions for this week. There are some interesting storylines and great matchups this week.
Tim Tebow will replace Mark Sanchez under center this week.
The Jets offense is struggling and they face a formidable opponent this week against the San Francisco 49ers. Down by 16 points in the fourth quarter, Rex Ryan will put Tim Tebow in at quarterback to try to jump start the offense.
Green Bay will score 40 points this afternoon.
The Packers are furious after last Monday night’s debacle in Seattle. There offense has struggled this season, but it all comes together this afternoon against the 32nd ranked Saints defense. Aaron Rodgers tosses four touchdowns and go over 40 points in front of a rabid Packers fanbase.
Vikings QB Christian Ponder will throw for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
The Detroit Lions secondary has been horrible this season. Vikings Christian Ponder has quietly been posting a solid season. Ponder is completing 70% of his passes and has yet to toss an interception this year. Minnesota gets Jerome Simpson back this afternoon.
Darren McFadden will post his best rushing game of the regular season.
Run DMC was slow getting out of the gate this season with the Raiders new offensive scheme. Last week he went over the century mark for the first time this season, and this afternoon, he nears 140 yards and two scores.
Julio Jones will post 200 yards receiving against the Carolina Panthers.
The Falcons new offensive scheme has developed well for QB Matt Ryan. Jones has only posted 100 yards receiving once this season, but he has a monster game at home against the Panthers today with 200 yards receiving. 70 yards comes on one touchdown reception.
