One of the biggest questions facing the Chicago Bears heading into tonight’s contest against the Dallas Cowboys, was the availability of RB Matt Forte. Several reports this morning suggested that Forte was going to be a game time decision but one report suggests that Forte is ready to play tonight.

FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer reports on Twitter that barring a freak accident tonight, Forte will see action for the Bears in Dallas Cowboys Stadium tonight. On Twitter, Glazer reported the following: “Other sources confirm Forte is playing tonight. He will be active barring a freak accident (gotta put that disclaimer in bc of skins-bucs)” Glazer referenced the accident which saw Redskins S Brandon Meriweather and WR Aldrick Robinson collide in the pre-game warmups yesterday afternoon. Both players were ruled out of the contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This is good news for the Bears tonight as Forte is a valuable asset in the Chicago offense. However fantasy football owners should temper their expectations tonight. I expect to see Forte in a limited role with Michael Bush receiving the majority of the totes tonight for Chicago.
