For the first time since week five, the Washington Redskins and rookie QB Robert Griffin III will have WR Pierre Garcon back in the lineup. Garcon has officially been listed as active this afternoon against the Philadelphia Eagles. Garcon has been battling a foot injury, something he suffered in week one against the New Orleans Saints.

I had listed Pierre Garcon as one of my fantasy sleepers prior to the start of the season. He looked good in week one against the Saints, recording four receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. He has just four receptions for 44 yards since suffering his injury in very limited action. Garcon has been battling a plantar plate tear in recent weeks.

Fantasy implications- I would be wary of starting Garcon this afternoon after missing so many games this season. He might need a few weeks to regain his game shape. RG III likely is happy to see the speedster back into the lineup, but his production expectations should be tempered this week. There is also the chance that Garcon could aggravate his foot injury once in the game. I would not be willing to roll the dice on Garcon this week. I want to see him play a complete game first.
