Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and his cousin, Antonio Cromartie, do plenty of talking. On many occasions, their play on the field can back up all of their talking. In other cases, they simply come off as delusional. At this point, I’m just not sure which one is worse.

One cannot remember the names of all of his children, although, it is a bit of a monumental task when you have that many with so many different women n such a short time span in so many different places. He also talks trash about his teammates as often as he does his opponents. Then, he went on to guarantee that his 3-6 team would make the playoffs.

The other is Dominique, who says that there has not been one team this year who “has lined up and just beat us. No, its just mental mistakes.” That, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

So, nobody has just lined up and beat the Eagles this season, huh? All mental mistakes, you say?

I’m sorry, but those must be some big-ass mental mistakes then to lead to Philadelphia’s 3-7 record in the 2012 NFL season.

So, the Washington Redskins didn’t just line up and beat you yesterday? They won 31-6. Sounds like quite a beating to me. Or what about the Arizona Cardinals back in Week 3, who destroyed your Eagles by the score of 27-6? Was that game not a beatdown? You lost five straight games, fella. They were not all that close. You got beat. You keep getting beat. You will continue to get beat.

Still, Rodgers-Cromartie thinks that the Eagles are the most talented team in the league. I guess talent can be overrated. At least your cousin, also delusional in terms of how they rate their team, actually won his game on Sunday to improve to 4-6. Even with an easy remaining schedule, however, he isn’t going to the playoffs this season either.

If two delusional cousins continue to talk smack, but their teams both fail to make the playoffs, do they still make a sound?

Apparently, yes.
