The Atlanta Falcons expect wide receiver Julio Jones to start today against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a key NFC South divisional matchup on Sunday, although he may be limited. It is being reported that Jones is likely to be active, although the number of snaps he plays is a giant question mark.

One report said that Jones may play as needed. If Atlanta can build a lead or keep things close until the end, Jones may not see as much action. But if the game turns into the shoot out that many people are predicting, Jones may be more heavily relied upon on Sunday.

From a fantasy perspective, owners of Jones will have e tough call to make. He is likely to play, but how much remains to be seen. He started last week in the win against the Arizona Cardinals, but played just less than half the snaps while re-aggravating his ankle sprain. It does not appear to be something that is going away on its own entirely, meaning that Jones may need to gut it out for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, it has clearly hindered his play a bit.

If you roll the dice on starting Jones, it could be a risky proposition. Of course, do you really want to be the fantasy football owner who sat Julio Jones on the day that he may have had just 4 catches, but with 3 of them going for deep touchdowns?

That is why they call it fantasy football. Anyone who says they always know who to start and sit is living in a fantasy world. Start Jones unless you have a much better option, as even if he is only at 60-70 percent, that is still probably better than most players at close to 100 percent.
