Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin has dealt with a variety of injuries in his career and it now appears the Vikings will be without the speedy receiver again this week. Harvin has been dealing with a sprained left ankle and is officially listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report. Minnesota is coming off their bye week and the additional week off was thought to have helped Harvin heal, but it appears he will not play Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

In his place, the Minnesota Vikings are expected to play rookie WR Jarius Wright. Wright saw action in week 10 against the Detroit Lions and recorded three receptions for 65 yards and a score.

Fantasy Implications– Outside of Percy Harvin and RB Adrian Peterson, every other offensive player is a risky fantasy option. If you have no other option, you could grab Wright off the waiver wire to plug in for Harvin but I wouldn’t expect much in fantasy value going up against the stout Chicago Bears defense. After getting off to a solid start this season, QB Christian Ponder has struggled in recent weeks and should have another rough outing against the Bears.
