The Miami Dolphins are expected to have their highly touted rookie QB Ryan Tannehill under center this afternoon against the Indianapolis Colts. Tannehill suffered a knee injury last week against the New York Jets and was replaced by veteran Matt Moore. Moore turned in a solid performance off the bench against the Jets.
Reporter Albert Breer reported on NFL Network’s First on the Field this morning that Tannehill is expected to start. Breer tweeted, “As I said on FOF, Dolphins expect Ryan Tannehill to dress and he’s likely to start. Issue is pain tolerance, so he’ll be monitored pregame.”
Fantasy Football implications- Frankly, I would look elsewhere for a quarterback to start this week. If Tannehill does start, there is no guarantee that he finished the game. He could tweak his injury and be replaced on the field by Matt Moore. I’d avoid either quarterback this week and look for someone else to start.
