The 2012 NFL regular season has reached it’s conclusion. The Detroit Lions came into the 2012 season with high expectations and were a trendy pick to return to the playoffs once again this year. Detroit struggled this season and failed to live up to the high expectations placed upon them this season after their success last season. The Lions have some serious issues to address in this offseason and are now looking ahead to the start of free agency as well as starting to prepare for the 2013 NFL Draft. Since the regular season is now over, the Detroit Lions also can look at their 2013 NFL regular season schedule. Dates and times will not be assigned to games until April.

Teams from the NFC North will face off in their usual home and away divisional series. All the teams form the NFC North will square off against teams from the NFC East as well as the AFC North. At-Large games, which are determined by how teams finish the season in their respective division will be played against teams from the NFC South and the NFC West.

Home– Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, At-Large, (NFC South) Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Away– Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, At- Large (NFC West) Arizona Cardinals
