The Buffalo Bills have fired head coach Chan Gailey, following a disappointing 2012 season. The Bills finished the year with a 6-10 record, and the expectations were much higher in Buffalo following last offseason’s spending spree, highlighted by the signing of Mario Williams.

The Bills won their final game of the season at home over the New York Jets on Sunday, but it was not enough to save Gailey’s job going forward. The Bills felt as if they should have performed better in 2012, leading to them making a change headed into the offseason and 2013 NFL Draft.
