Anyone that watched this evening’s National Championship game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, will know that this game was finished early. Perhaps the most notable aspect of this game in the first half as the Tide rolled over the Irish, were the very disturbing comments about Bama’s QB A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend by ESPN announcer Brent Musburger. Musburger, nearly a half a century older than McCarron’s girlfriend, Miss Alabama Katherine Webb, really went overboard in his description of her when she was on camera sitting beside McCarron’s mother.

It seems, according to the Detroit Free Press, that Musburger wasn’t the only one smitten by the good looks of McCarron’s woman. NFL defensive lineman, Darnell Dockett seemed to get a glimpse of the beauty queen. The Detroit paper reports that Dockett was trying to send some direct messages on Twitter to Ms. Webb, but they went public while he was trying to convince Webb to join him for a romantic dinner of chicken wings before hitting the strip club.

From Dockett’s account-

– @_KatherineWebb aye u going to king of diamonds Monday after game?

– Aye @_KatherineWebb hit me (240) xxx-xxx when game over, lets go to wing stop then King of diamond,

freep.com blocked out the phone number that he provided, likely saving Darnell 2700 calls tonight, although he is garnering some internet attention.

Nothing says commitment better than some chicken wings in sauce and then watching naked girls dancing on a pole. I can’t imagine why Dockett’s phone wasn’t blowing up minutes later. Wings and Strippers and Dockett-can’t understand how that approach failed with Miss Alabama. Dockett later re-Tweeted, saying that the messages were supposed to be private, not public. Okay. Awkward. We’ll just move along.

Two public personalities were ogling over McCarron’s girlfriend this evening, one on television the other on Twitter. Her actual boyfriend just won the National Championship and will be going home with him. Sorry guys.

Mussburger needs to put his Johnson back in his pants and concentrate on football.
