Here’s an interesting twist on teams trying to generate more revenue. You and a friend can now vacation with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading squad on their photoshoot at Riviera Maya, Mexico. The squad is advertising the trip on where you and your friend can attend the four day event for the low, low cost of just $6,999 dollars, although the site claims this pricetag is a 56% savings over the original price of $16,000.

The site advertises the getaway as an all inclusive trip with airfare, a three-night stay at a five-star hotel, meals, a meet-and-greet with the squad and a fashion show.

There is no mention on the website as to how many packages are available in this offer, but does show that one deal has been purchased. Also, if you buy an all inclusive deal and you get three of your friends to do the same, your trip is free. Is there nothing that the NFL does that isn’t marketed to the hilt anymore?

The Cowboys are now selling tickets for people to watch the photoshoot for a calender that they are going to sell later this year. If this stunt draws a crowd of people, look for other teams to follow suit. Somehow, I don’t think I could convince my wife that participating in this trip is work related.

There are only 18 hours remaining in the offer.
