Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice suffered a hip flexor injury last week against the Cleveland Browns. Rice was seen limping last week and while being listed as questionable during the week, it was believed that he might be a game time decision today against the Houston Texans. Rice is now officially listed as doubtful and will miss today’s contest.

Beat writer Aaron Wilson reported that Rice is actually on a two week timetable while recovering from his injury.

Fantasy owners should bench Rice this week and start Bernard Pierce in his place. This is a tough matchup for either running back, rushing against a formidable Texans defense. It should be assumed that Rice will be questionable next week when the Ravens take on the Buffalo Bills.
