The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Detroit Lions in week two of the NFL season but they might be without the services of their best offensive weapon, WR Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is suffering from a hamstring injury and it was reported this week that he might be a game time decision while officially being listed as questionable on the injury report.

The Arizona Cardinals made a roster move on Saturday that might signal that Fitzgerald’s injury may be more serious than first believed. The Cardinals signed WR Kerry Taylor from the practice squad.

Unfortunately for fantasy owners that have Fitzgerald on their roster, the Cardinals do not kick off until the late games start after 4:00 pm Eastern. Fitzgerald owners might have a tough time getting definitive updates prior to kick off of the early games. Even if he does start, the move of signing another receiver to the roster likely signifies that the team is worried as to whether or not Fitzgerald will be able to go the entire game.

Fitzgerald might have been poised for a productive afternoon against a weaker Lions secondary.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter is reporting this morning that Fitzgerald will try to go later this afternoon. He is a risky play.
