The Pittsburgh Steelers decided that they need a significant upgrade at the running back position during this spring’s NFL Draft. They selected the prolific scoring machine, Le’Veon Bell with hopes he would become the team’s every down back, something unique in today’s NFL game.

Bell appeared in just one NFL preseason game and sustained a foot injury. Originally thought of as a Lisfranc injury, Bell suffered what is being described as a sprain. Head coach Mike Tomlin told the media that Bell was ruled out this week because of his inability to practice with the team, not the injury.

Pittsburgh has struggled to find a solid running game in the last few seasons while dealing with offensive line issues as well as the inability to find a solid back. Bell was supposed to be the answer. Isaac Redman will make the start for the Steelers this week against the Tennessee Titans.

From a fantasy standpoint, I am not jumping on the Titans matchup with Redman in the backfield.
