Two of the top wide receivers in the NFL come into week six of the regular season ailing. Calvin Johnson (knee) and Andre Johnson (shin) are both nursing injuries. The Detroit Lions travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns while the reeling Houston Texans host the St. Louis Rams. Both receivers are key pieces to their respective offenses.

Calvin Johnson was a surprise scratch from last week’s game against the Packers. Without Johnson in the lineup, the Detroit offense struggled to move the ball. All reports this morning suggest that Johnson is going to be a game time decision as the team will evaluate his status after pre-game warmups. He was limited this week in practice.

UPDATE: Jason LaCanfora is reporting via Twitter at 11:30 am that Calvin Johnson is playing today.

This is a situation fantasy owners will have to watch closely this morning.

In Houston, Andre Johnson has been struggling with a shin injury the last few weeks. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports this morning that his sources tell him that Johnson will start this afternoon. Rapoport suggested that swelling in Johnson’s shin has subsided and he will play through the discomfort.
