New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs may have made the trip to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, but he will not see the playing field. Jacobs has been listed as inactive for this afternoon’s game. Jacobs missed last Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings and has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Most fantasy owners that had added Jacobs were already aware of the injury and the possibility that he might not be playing this afternoon. Of course, if you added Brandon Jacobs to your roster, you likely have serious issues at the running back position. Peyton Hillis will get the start this afternoon and while he looked slow and out of shape on Monday night, someone has to carry the ball for the Giants.

Hillis isn’t the best running back option, but if you are in need, you can likely find him on your waiver wire and he will get all the carries on the goal line.
