The Kansas City Chiefs are the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL after seven weeks. This afternoon they host the Cleveland Browns with Jason Campbell making his first start this season. It appears at this point that the Chiefs will have wide receiver Dwayne Bowe back in the lineup this week. Bowe has been struggling with a groin injury.

Bowe did practice on Thursday but sat out on Friday as he aggravated his injury during practice. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that he expects Bowe to play this week barring any sort of set back in pre-game warmups.

This announcement shouldn’t be a big deal to fantasy owners, Bowe has not been a large part of the Chiefs offense to date. He has been targeted 44 times and has 25 receptions for 295 yards and just two touchdowns. The Kansas City offense does not take many shots down the field over 20 yards so Bowe’s upside is limited. Expect Bowe to get blanketed by Browns CB Joe Haden this week.  I’m sure many Bowe owners have moved on to other options to start.
