New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola suffered a vicious blow two weeks ago against the New Orleans Saints. The blow delivered Amendola a concussion and he miss last week’s game against the New York Jets. According to multiple reports this morning, Amendola has medically been cleared to play this week after passing all of his league mandated concussion tests.

Amendola is still being listed officially as questionable in today’s contest against the Miami Dolphins after missing just one week. Miami features the 25th ranked pass defense after seven weeks and with the addition of Rob Gronkowski to the lineup, Amendola should be considered a solid flex play this week.

Fantasy owners will have to wait until 11:30 am EST this morning to see if Amendola will indeed play this afternoon. Owners of any Patriots offensive play might want to monitor any stories surrounding QB Tom Brady and a possible injury to his throwing hand as this morning unfolds.

For fantasy owners that play IDP leagues, Patriots CB Aqib Talib is not expected to play as he continues to deal with a fip flexor injury.
