The New Orleans Saints are coming off their bye week and had an entire week to mull over their last second loss to the New England Patriots in week six. In that game, Saints star TE Jimmy Graham was held without a catch while suffering a foot injury. Graham tried to re-enter the game and simply couldn’t go. Despite having a week off, Graham remains highly questionable to play this afternoon as the Saints host the Buffalo Bills.

According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Graham is considered a “longshot” to play this afternoon. Graham did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday but saw practice time on Friday.

Fantasy owners of Graham are going to have to have some sort of backup plan this week. Official word will come down at 11:30 this morning, but have a contingency plan in place and don’t be surprised if Graham sits this week. Graham’s absence will give added value to Marques Colston and Darren Sproles.

UPDATE: FOX Sports insider reports on Twitter this morning that Graham is dealing with a partially torn plantar fascia in his foot.

UPDATE 11:32 am- Jimmy Graham is listed as active and will attempt to give it a go this afternoon. Fantasy owners should be aware that Graham might be limited to a “pitch count” of plays on the field.
