The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive unit suffered another blow this week. Last week, the team lost their RB Doug Martin to a torn labrum and reports suggest he’ll miss the remainder of the season. As of this morning, another offensive weapon will be lost for the remainder of the 2013 season. WR Mike Williams has been placed on season ending injured reserve.

It was learned last week that Mike Williams had suffered a torn hamstring. The injury and it’s severity were confirmed this morning with the Buccaneers making this move.

Fantasy impact- Williams, along with the Buccaneers overall have had a very disappointing season. With the Buccaneers naming rookie QB Mike Glennon as the quarterback, Williams involvement in the offense decreased. Vincent Jackson has emerged as Glennon’s favorite target. Williams should be dumped and there are several waiver wire options that should be explored. Personally, I dumped Williams two weeks ago and added Terrance Williams.
