There are some interesting matchups heading into week seven of the regular season. for those of you that love to bet parlays each week, I have four wagers that I really like this week. Two are over/under wagers and two are against the spread. I like the matchups featuring Detroit, San Francsico, Baltimore and Kansas City in this week’s parlay.

San Francisco 49ers -3.5 over Tennessee Titans

The Titans will get their starting quarterback, Jake Locker, back under center this afternoon. The Titans are playing improved defense this season but the Niners offense has scored at least 32 points in each of their last three consecutive wins. In an interesting tidbit this season, every team which has played Seattle the previous week, loses the next week. Carolina, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Houston and Indianapolis all lost the week following their contest with Seattle. Take the Niners, lay the points

Detroit Lions (-2.5) 47 points over/under

It’s believed that Calvin Johnson is a go this week. While the Bengals have not allowed an opposing quarterback to throw for more than 300 yards in their last 20 games, Matthew Stafford is scoring points in bunches at home this season. Averaging 37 points in the dome, Detroit should put up solid numbers again this week. Take the over.

Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs -6

The Texans have been a disappointment so far this season. Undrafted free agent QB Case Keenum will get his first career start in the unfriendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs have 31 sacks on the season and are +12 in the turnover ratio. QB Alex Smith is protecting the ball well this season, throwing just three interceptions. Smith is 28th in yards per attempt when graded against the other starting quarterbacks and attempts just 4% of his passes 20 or more yards downfield. Houston is 0-6 ATS this season while the Chiefs are 5-1.  Take Chiefs and give the points.

Baltimore Ravens/Pittsburgh Steelers O/U 41

These two always play hard fought games. The Ravens are averaging 22 points on offense while the Steelers are scoring just 17 points per game. I’m expecting a 19-16 game, take the under.
