The New England Patriots are coming into this week still reeling from a divisional loss to the New York Jets last week. New England finally has TE Rob Gronkowski back in the starting lineup and according to reports this morning, WR Danny Amendola has been medically cleared to return. However, is QB Tom Brady suffering from an injury now as well?

Brady popped up on the injury report this week as probable with a shoulder injury. As many know, Brady has been a staple on the Patriots’ injury report in years past with the same “lingering” shoulder injury. However, in this day and age of social media, nothing is hidden very long.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport is reporting this morning that a photo of Tom Brady at a charity event last night popped up on Facebook. The picture shows Brady with two fingers on his throwing hand taped together. Rapoport reports that he’s been told by Patriots staff that this is nothing to worry about.

We’ll have to wait until kickoff this afternoon to see if Brady is having any issues throwing the ball. It has rained in the region overnight, but the precipitation has moved on so weather will not be an issue in the game.

UPDATE 2:30 pm EST- Brady’s hand appears swollen as the team returned to the field for the second half. His play in the first half was horrible.
