The final game of the week 10 NFL season gets underway this even with a very disappointing match on Monday Night Football. The winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Miami Dolphins. Both teams have been mired in controversy this season. The national spotlight had been shining bright on Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano prior to the Richie Incognito scandal broke nearly two weeks ago. I wonder if Schiano sent Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin a 1-800 Flowers coaches controversy bouquet in the last week after the focus shifted off him.

Tampa Bay- The Buccaneers played the Seattle Seahawks very tough last week, including getting out to a 21-point lead and a 24-3 lead at the start of the third quarter. Rookie quarterback Mike Glennon has been solid in his starts and has not thrown an interception in his last three starts. Mike James replaced Doug Martin in the lineup after Martin suffered a torn labrum and was placed on season ending IR. James ran hard against the Seahawks, gaining over 150 yards. Rookie TE Tim Wright is becoming a favorite target of Glennon’s. WR Mike Williams has been lost for the season while Vincent Jackson remains the number one receiver.

Miami- The Dolphins managed to stop a four-game losing streak last Thursday with a 22-20 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals. In his sophomore season, QB Ryan Tannehill has not made the strides some had hoped for. He has just 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while he’s been sacked 35 times. The Dolphins offensive line has been horrible and the loss of Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin doesn’t help matters. Prized free agent WR Mike Wallace has not made the impact that Miami fans had hoped for, scoring just once this season. The Dolphins running game has struggled to be average this year.

Tampa Bat is a 2.5 point underdog with the over/under set at 41.

No team that has played Seattle this season has either covered the spread or won a game the following week.

I expect Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy to be a disruptive factor this evening while the Buccaneers send several linebacker blitzes. Tampa should finally get in the win column tonight. Tampa Bay 24-16
