The disappointing season continues for the Atlanta Falcons. Considered a contender to reach the Super Bowl this season, the Falcons have been blasted by injuries this season. Atlanta has lost WR Julio Jones for the season and has been without WR Roddy White for their last two games. Roddy White is not expected to play this afternoon against the Carolina Panthers either.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that he has learned that White will not go this afternoon. White started the 2013 campaign while dealing with a high ankle sprain and has struggled when he has been able to reach the field. White did not practice on Friday while dealing with a continuing ankle injury as well as a hamstring issue. Atlanta is a 7.5 point underdog against the Panthers this afternoon.

Fantasy owners who have White on their roster have likely made adjustments to compensate for White’s lack of production this season along with missed games. Continue to hold White out of your line up this week.
