The NFL league office announced Monday that Indianapolis Colts LB Erik Walden would be suspended for one game after he head-butted Tennessee Titans TE Delaine Walker. Walker was not wearing his helmet at the time. The league also announced that Tampa Bay Buccaneers S Dashon Goldson would be suspended for one game after his hit Sunday on Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White.

This is not the first suspension for Goldson this season. The safety has been flagged numerous times for personal foul penalties and was suspended in Week 2 for a similar penalty. That suspension was appealed and was reduced to a $100,000 fine in place of the suspension.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday night that Goldson would appeal this suspension as well. One would have to think that he would have a much harder time to win a second appeal in the same season. The Buccaneers travel to Detroit to take on the Lions this week.
