In the first half of the NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars looked as if they were on cruise control to the first pick overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. The team turned things around in the second half of the year, but many holes remain on the Jaguars roster. An upgrade at quarterback is needed. RB Maurice Jones-Drew has been ineffective this season and will be a free agent this offseason. Upgrades are also needed on defense as Jacksonville ranked 30th in run defense in 2013.

Now that the regular season schedule has ended and final divisional standing are known, opponents for the 2014 schedule are known. Teams from the AFC South will face off against the NFC East and the AFC North. At-large games are home against the AFC East and the away games are facing the AFC West.

2014 Regular Season Schedule for Jacksonville Jaguars-

Home- Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, AFC East- Miami Dolphins

Away- Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, AFC West- San Diego Chargers
