The Detroit Lions appeared to be in the driver’s seat of the NFC North by Week 11 of the 2013 season. After sweeping the series season against the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers had lost QB Aaron Rodgers and Detroit had the inside track on the division title. Detroit responded by turning the ball over at least three times in five straight weeks and played right out of the division lead by losing five or their last six games. Perhaps they cost head coach Jim Schwartz his job as well.

With the conclusion of the regular season, final standing are now known and so is the schedule for teams in 2014. The teams in the NFC North will play all the teams in the AFC East as well as the NFC South. The at-large games are at home against the NFC East and on the road against the NFC West. Dates and times will be announced for individual games later in the spring by the league office.

2014 regular season schedule Detroit Lions-

Away- Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, New England Patriots, NFC West- Arizona Cardinals
