The 2013 version of the Minnesota Vikings were a massive disappointment after reaching postseason play in 2012. Quarterback continued to be a position of weakness for the Vikings. Minnesota started three different signal callers this season and all three proved to have various weaknesses. The Vikings even signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman after he was released, only to see him start just one game and then remain inactive for the remainder of the season. Despite reaching the playoffs in 2012, head coach Leslie Frazier might be fired this coming week.

With the regular season wrapping up, once the final standings are known, so are the schedules for the 2014 season. Teams in the NFC North are playing all the teams from the NFC South and the AFC East. The at-large games are played at home against the NFC East and on the road against the NFC West. Dates and times of individual games will be determined later this coming spring by the NFL league office.

2014 regular season schedule Minnesota Vikings-

Home- Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, New York Jets, NFC East- Washington Redskins

Away- Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, NFC West- St. Louis Rams
