The Atlanta Falcons have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this 2013 season. Injuries took a toll early but defensive issues and a lack of depth came to the surface once injuries started mounting. RB Steven Jackson didn’t provide the boost to the Falcons running game and Atlanta finished ranked 32nd in the league, rushing for just 78 yards per game. On defense, the Falcons ranked 25th versus the pass and 31st against the run. Off-season changes are going to be required.

Now that the NFL regular season has finished, teams now know who they will be playing in the 2014 season. Teams from the NFC South will play the AFC North and the NFC North. At-large games will be played at home against the NFC West and on the road against the NFC East.

2014 regular season schedule Atlanta Falcons-

Home- Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, NFC West- Arizona Cardinals

Away- Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, NFC East- New York Giants
