Overnight, the Buffalo Bills have agreed to terms with free agent running back Anthony Dixon. Dixon provided depth at the running back position for the San Francisco 49ers in previous seasons. In four seasons with the Niners, the physical back has recorded just 148 carries for 458 yards and eight scores.

While he is not expected to make a large impact in the running game, Dixon should be a presence in the special teams department coming in a 6-foot-1-inch 235 pounds.

This signing makes little impact in fantasy football circles as he is behind Fred Jackson and C. J. Spiller on the Bills depth chart. There is a slim possibility that Dixon could get some goal line carries for the Bills this season if Jackson is injured, but he remains someone to simply watch on the waiver wire this upcoming season.
