After ending his holdout July 31, Seattle Seahawks RB reported to camp with a little extra change in his wallet. It seems now from Seattlepi.com, that Lynch might need that extra cash for legal fees. Bellvue police are investigating an alleged assault and personal property damage case according to the website. If true, this would not be the first time the running back has had a run-in with the law.
According to seattlepi.com, “the alleged incident was reported to have occurred early Sunday morning, but “no domestic violence or sexual assault was involved in the allegation.”
A statement from the Police Department states that no charges are pending before an investigation is complete. “The Bellevue Police Department is in the process of gathering the facts of this alleged incident, including verifying whether or not Mr. Lynch was in fact involved. No arrests have been made. There is no further information available at this time.”
Lynch has had a hit-and-run incident, a firearms issue and a DUI arrest on his record since 2007. If this latest allegation is true, Lynch needs to realize that he only needs to be going Beast Mode on opposing defenses and not citizens.
